Digital and Design Technologies at SMMIS
SMMIS offers a number of innovative STEAM initiatives as part of our Makerspace Programme, including 3D printing, programming, micro:bits and Minecraft for Education.
Our students need to be able to think critically, problem-solve and collaborate in order to succeed in the future. Our Makerspace Programme, part of the core curriculum, encourages creative thinking, persistence, collaboration, and problem-solving. It allows children to try new things and use materials and cutting edge technology they may not have had access to before. It allows children to pursue passions and develop new ones; to generate excitement and a love of learning
I feel happy in this school, the teachers are kind and my friends are very nice. I have friends from many countries in my class- Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Portuguese, Israelis and Koreans, and we all play and talk together and share some things about our homes and countries and culture.

I love the activities we do in class. I like how we learn by exploring and not reading from the textbook all the time. It is less lecture, more active learning now and I love school.
